I have been part of Camp Lurecrest since I can remember. My parents met there and since I was a little tike, hanging around the campgrounds withmy best friend Brittany while our moms worked in the kitchen has accounted for my most prominent and favorite memories. Camp Lurecrest is more than just a place or a week full of activities and services, it is a sacred mountain top where the Lord touches lives (and first touched mine). Friendships are built and strengthened, and campers and staff are prepared with the knowledge and understanding of the gospel that impacts their lives forever. Looking back on the 15+ summers I spent at Camp Lurecrest I can think of no other place or time in my life where I accumulated more lasting friendships or was in the company of more solid Christian influences. Camp Lurecrest will always have a special place in my heart and my prayer is that the tradition of such a joyous summertime experience will continue for years to come.
